Welcome to Suncoast Camera Club. The Suncoast CC was founded in 1960 and currently has over 50 members of all ages and abilities. We have two meetings per month and many field trips. Tampa Bay Magazine

The judging of the first annual PSA CPID International Individual Creative Competition (IICC) was held January 24, 2008 where Frank Crommelin ran away with the show, capturing both 1st and 2nd places with his images; "Tampa Trolly" and "Just a Flower".

Bill Kramer was the co-winner in the Tonbridge Camera Club International Competition. SCC came in third place. See club news for more details.

PSA is a worldwide interactive organization for anyone interested in photography, be they casual, serious amateurs or professional photographers. Individual, Camera Club, Chapter and Council members are offered a wide variety of activities: a monthly magazine, photo and digital competitions, study groups via mail and the internet, how-to programs, an annual conference and a raft of other activities and services.

Humanity in Black and White – 5th Annual Florida Photography Juried Exhibition in the Art Center Sarasota Main Gallery. Art Center Members and Artists from around the state are invited to submit photographs to Humanity in Black and White.  This finely curated and juried assembly of works by photographers invites artists to capture social concerns from one’s back yard to the farthest reaches of the planet – in black and white.


UPCOMING PHOTOGRAPHY OPPORTUNITIES

June 14-21 in Sarasota
The Sarasota Sheriff's Department is asking for volunteers to photograph the annual Florida Police and Fire Games which is being hosted for the first time in Sarasota County. Over 5000 participants in 45+ Olympic type events over a seven day period (June 14th-21st).  A list of the events is included on the enclosed attachment. All photo volunteers will be given Press Credentials which will allow you access to virtually all areas.  Click here for more details and contact information
