2008 Mississippi Valley Salon of Photography

Four club members had success in the 2008 Mississippi Valley Salon of Photography contest. In the Open Color section, Frank Crommelin received 3 awards, Jim Mahoney received 2 awards, Nick Muskovac received 3 awards, and Eric Rosengren received 2 awards and 1 medal HM. In the Creative section, Frank Crommelin received 1 acceptance, 1 PSA HM & 1 PSA Bronze Medal, Jim Mahoney received 1 acceptance, and Nick Muskovac received 3 acceptances.

PSA October Picture of the Month Contest

Frank Crommelin received a first place color print in the PSA Picture of the Month contest for October. Frank would like encourage other members to join Photographic Society of America (PSA) and to take advantage of contests. For the POM contest the prints requirement are four print (2) color (2) Mono. 8 x 10 - 8.5 x 11 unmounted.

PSA CPID International Individual Creative Competition (IICC)

The judging of the first annual PSA CPID International Individual Creative Competition (IICC) was held January 24, 2008 where Frank Crommelin ran away with the show, capturing both 1st and 2nd places with his images; "Tampa Trolly" and "Just a Flower".
